Rank and organization: Corporal, Company A, 108th New York Infantry. Place and date: At Gettysburg, Pa., 3 July 1863. Entered service at: Penfield, N.Y. Birth: Penfield, N.Y. Date of issue: 10 March 1896

Citation: Voluntarily and under a severe fire brought a box of ammunition to his comrades on the skirmish line.
